Robot Invasion

Thanks to Michael from x-foto.ch some light has been brought to the issue. It seems that the fake torrent has been spread automatically to a number of other torrent sites and trackers without further verification.

A google search brings up at least the following:

www.fulldls.com
www.btmon.com
www.seedpeer.com
www.torrentportal.com

I don't know how much this info can be trusted, but according to seedpeer the list of trackers has been extendend from my initial two to ten:

http://tracker.torrentbox.com:2710/announce 2 hours ago, 1 seeds, 175 peers
http://denis.stalker.h3q.com:6969/announce 2 hours ago, 0 seeds, 93 peers
http://tpb.tracker.thepiratebay.org/announce 2 hours ago, 0 seeds, 0 peers
udp://tracker.torrentbox.com:2710/announce 2 hours ago, 0 seeds, 0 peers
http://tracker.ydy.com:103/announce 2 hours ago, 0 seeds, 0 peers
http://tpb.tracker.prq.to:80/announce.php 2 hours ago, 0 seeds, 0 peers
http://tv.tracker.thepiratebay.org/announce 2 hours ago, 0 seeds, 0 peers
http://tk2.greedland.net/announce 2 hours ago, 0 seeds, 0 peers
http://tpb.tracker.thepiratebay.org:80/announce 2 hours ago, 0 seeds, 0 peers
http://open.tracker.thepiratebay.org/announce 2 hours ago, 0 seeds, 0 peers

I doubt that that practice of spreading without verification is helpful to users. Fakes are a persistant hassle and the problem even gets multiplied.

Users should draw their own conclusions. Those pages are still offering crap sorted out by the original, community driven sources a long time ago.
